Co-director of the Artizan Music and Kwaito Recordings labels alongside production / dj partner Andy 'Touch'fingers, Jafar cut his djing teeth opening for Carl Cox and Billy Nasty at the legendary Final Frontier night at ClubUK way back in 1994.
The present day sees him having chalked up over 30 releases and remixes under the various guises of Jafar & Touch, Poussez, Jafar & Bobby Strobe and Rare Unit, when not touring with his 8 piece 'Live House' outfit Poetiquette.
Jafar has remixed artists as respected as Demarkus Lewis, Terry Farley, Rithma and has signed his material to the likes of Hustle Music, Blacksoul Music, Hydraulix, Gravitation, Dallas Disks, Plastic Fantastic and Sensual recordings in addition to the output on his own labels, which are home to a wealth of respected underground talent.
He is managed by New York based agency 'Simpatico' alongside a heavy weight roster that includes Doc Martin, Bert Bevans, Greenskeepers, Asad Rizvi, Jdub and RaySoo and is a regular fixture on the international dj map.
