Future sound of House Music?

I know it is a repeating question, but I would like to know your opinion here:

What`s the future sound of House Music?

Personally, I think, that we will get more and more elements from Rock Music mixed in and this will lead to live appearances of Classic Rock Bands in the Clubs. But this is only my idea...

¿Quién no ha leído algún artículo hablando sobre hacia donde se encamina el negocio musical en la actualidad? El rock está muerto. El rock está vivo. El dj está de moda. El dj ya no se lleva. Ya no se venden cds. Ahora solo se venden descargas por Internet. El vinilo vuelve a resurgir...

Reflexiones de este tipo inundan las revistas, blogs y periódicos de medio mundo pero, ¿realmente está tan mal el negocio de la música? Grupos como Radiohead (por citar el ejemplo más reciente), no solo batieron todos los récords en cuanto a descargas, sino que su último trabajo recientemente editado en cd, se encaramó al número 1 de ventas en medio mundo, vendiendo incluso más que sus anteriores trabajos cuando no se hablaba de crisis. Entonces… ¿el rock está muerto? ¿ya no se lleva ser dj y lo que molan ahora son las guitarras?...

Curiosamente, gente como Dj Shadow, Richie Hawtin o Carl Craig, llenan salas continuamente y sus cds con sesiones se siguen situando en los tops de ventas... ¿no habíamos quedado que los djs ya no se llevan?...

En definitiva, una canción buena, es una canción buena, la toque un grupo guitarrero, de música electrónica, con trompetas, o la pinche un Dj en cualquier club.

La reflexión de la que se debería hablar es ¿se siguen haciendo buenas canciones? La respuesta está clarísima: buenas canciones se han hecho y se seguirán haciendo siempre, sean del estilo que sean y se distribuyan en diferentes formatos. Lo que tenemos que hacer es buscar esas buenas canciones y disfrutarlas.

House Music is constantly changing. I suppose that's what's so great about it. New sounds, fresh ideas and the freedom to experiment. It's difficult to say really, as to what the future "sound" will be, but on a personal note, if it EXCLUDES the Electro craze, it has my vote ;-)

Personally, I'd like to see the "Funk" put back into our music.

I'm amazed House is still with us after all this time. When you consider the music styles that have come and gone over the years. It's a testament to its power that it still endures. I have no idea what the future holds as most ideas have been done. With new technology like the multi track features of the new melodyne we could be looking at some interesting new styles.. who knows..
